Almond Cream Puff Ring recipe
: Ingredients
1 cup water
1/2 cup butter
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup all-purpose flour
4 eggs

1-1/4 cups cold milk
1 package (3.4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding mix
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped
: GLAZE
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 tablespoon butter
1-1/2 teaspoons light corn syrup
1-1/2 teaspoons milk

Line a baking sheet with foil; grease the foil.
Draw a 12-inch circle onto foil; put to one side. Bring butter, water, and salt in a large saucepan to a boil.
Stir in all of the flour in one time until
mixture forms a ball.
Turn off the heat; allow to sit for 5 minutes.
Put in eggs, one by one, beating well between additions.
Keep beating until batter is shiny and smooth.
Drop batter along the inside of the circle by rounded
tablespoonfuls (piles should be slightly touching).
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes at 400 ° until golden brown.
Bring the foil upward and remove to a wire rack. Instantly cut a slit in the side of each
puff to let steam escape; allow to cool.
Gently cut ring horizontally in half and put top to one side; use a fork to remove soft dough from the inside.
Remove to a serving plate.
Beat extract, pudding mix, and milk together in a mixing bowl for
2 minutes. Refrigerate until thickened, for 5 minutes. Add
whipped cream and fold gently. Distribute cream mixture over
bottom of the ring; place top half over cream. Melt butter and
chocolate chips in a microwave; whisk until no lumps remain.
Whisk in milk and corn syrup. Spoon mixture over ring. Chill
until ready to serve.
